April updates are here! It was a relief for us to get these pictures of Xiao-Ping this month.
David and I have been a bit nervous after our little roller-coaster ride over Easter weekend, so seeing pictures of her this time was just a huge relief. We are more aware than ever of the heartache that is happening half way around the world, and we are both in awe of her birth parents and the decisions they have made so that she can have a better life. We know that Maya is truly a blessing given to our family, and not one to be taken lightly. This little girl has already changed our lives in so many ways and we have not even held her yet. This little one is very loved...by a family that is making heart wrenching decisions so that she will have a better life, and by a family who is so blessed to be able to help give her that life.
